We had the largest turn out of girls so far this season. Chloe May and Melissa Chapman had very good runs finishing 46 and 64^th respectively in the U11s. A great effort was seen from Grace Cross and Zarah Taylor who ran their first ever cross country race despite only just joining the club. This was a fantastic achievement and should inspire other athletes to come and have a go at the next event, all you need is enthusiasm and determination! Becca Mead continues to improve and finished well in the U13 race. read more

Sarah Plummer, battled hard in the U13s race and achieved an excellent 5^th place in only her second race for the club. Owen Drabwell and Henry Mead ran well to achieve 14^th and 23^rd places respectively.

The U15 boys fielded a strong team lead by Jordan Clay in 5^th, with a closely fought battle between the 3 other boys with Lloyd Milliken 10^th, Joe 11^th and Charlie 12^th.

This result meant that they won the team silver medals. Billy Mead and Brian Foulger had a good race with Billy finishing in 9^th, just ahead of Brian in 11^th. Well done to all our runners for doing LBAC proud. read more

This time of year also sees an increase in Road running and fun runs for juniors.We will advertise these on our notice board at training and include:

15^th April Ampthill & Flitwick Flyers (see their website) have a free junior fun run following their 10K race starting around 12.00

7^th May Watford: 3K for 10-14yrs, 10K for 15yrs+ See www.watford10k.org.uk

We would like to thank all of you that attended the presentation and quiz evening on the 18^th March it was a resounding success and all had a good time.
