Boxing Day Run
Sunday the 26th December will see the annual running of the Langmay Trophy and all club members, friends and family are invited to take part.
The event is a "blind handicap". This means that it is run as a straight race with everyone starting together, but Dave Adams will have a predicted time for all club members and the person who beats their predicted time by the greatest margin will be the winner. It is really just a bit of fun to get you out of the house and running off some of the Christmas dinner from the day before.
The race is run from Leighton Town Football Club at 11am. The course is 5.62 miles and a map can be found here (map).Following the run, the changing rooms and bar will then be available after the run for showers and drinks respectively. The idea is also that each runner brings a small wrapped present (no more than £5) with them that is placed on a table in the bar and then when your result is read out you get to pick a present from the table.
