Christmas Runs
Just to let you know of a few social running opportunities over the festive period. Firstly, on Sunday there are a couple of options;
Christmas Kanter – Sunday 23rd
This is a social event where groups or individuals have to complete a cross-country course by map reading and solving a few clues. It will take place this year at the top of Church Road near Woburn Sands and costs £1. There are two options of a 10K or 15K route and starters go off in their own time between 8.45 and 9.15am.
Andy and Richard are both leading teams doing the 15K. Amy is doing the 10K. All three groups have already recruited a few members but the more the merrier, or you are welcome to do your own thing.

Fun Runners Invitation
Leighton Fun Runners have invited all our club members to join them on any of their runs. Further details can be found on their website but;
Sunday 23rd – 5 miles cross-country from Rushmere 10am
Monday 24th – 10 miles from the tennis club at 8am
Monday 24th – 10 miles cross-country from Stockgrove at 10am
Christmas Eve
There is often a small group from the club that gather for the town carol singing in the High Street at 7pm with about 3000 other people. This is usually around The Nationwide and is a really pleasant way to spend an hour if you fancy a bit of singing.
Christmas Day Parkrun
If anyone fancies it, then the MK Parkrun organisers have got one going on on Christmas Day at 9am. All the same set-up as usual and it may even help justify the extra Yorkshire pudding! If you haven't already registered on the website, then please do. These are fantastic free events that happen every single week around the country. Even if you are away from home there is a fair chance there is one nearby.

Boxing Day
Joe Hurley said last night that he would run from the club on Boxing Day (as it's Wednesday). I think he may have been serious so if you fancy it then please head down to Tiddenfoot where he will undoubtedly welcome you with open arms!!
2nd January Stag
Assuming that the course isn't icy we will be back on the Stag course in January. If you haven't done one yet, there are still five to go so literally anyone can still win.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all
