Unfortunately, this year's boxing day handicap race was postponed due to dangerous icy conditions on the pavements of Leighton Buzzard following freezing temperatures and overnight rain in the town. (The current plan, which is yet to be confirmed, is to hold the race on Sunday 17^th January instead.) As a result the 22 runners from both LBAC and the Fun Runners crossed town and went for a sociable run around Stockgrove Park, where the underfoot conditions were a lot more suitable for running, on what turned out to be a beautiful day.
